Who we are

Osler is an Australian medical education organisation dedicated to helping doctors learn, develop and succeed in their careers.

For more than a decade, Osler has supported doctors with practical learning tools, structured education and technology designed to make continuing professional development simpler and more effective. Today our community includes more than 26,000 doctors from across Australia and around the world, including a large and growing number of international medical graduates (IMGs) preparing to work in Australia.

Education First

Osler’s focus is education, not accreditation.

While we operate an AMC-accredited CPD Home, our core mission is to provide doctors with the knowledge, skills and resources they need to succeed in clinical practice.

For IMGs, this means providing practical support to help navigate the transition to Australia — including understanding the healthcare system, preparing for work in Australian hospitals and developing the knowledge required for safe clinical practice.

Built by Doctors and Educators

Osler is run by an experienced multidisciplinary team that includes:

  • medical educators

  • practising clinicians

  • healthcare managers

  • mentors and supervisors of junior doctors

  • business and organisational leaders

  • software engineers and technology specialists

Together, this team brings decades of experience in medical education, healthcare systems and professional development.
